TitleTransport Salaried Staffs’ Association (Perth Branch)
HistoryThe Transport Salaried Staffs’ Association was founded in 1897 as the National Association of General Railway Clerks and became the Railway Clerks' Association in 1899. In 1951 the association changed its name to the Transport Salaried Staffs' Association. It represented the interests of workers in the transport and travel trade industries and, by 2002, had over 32,000 members in the UK and Ireland. The Perth Branch was active between at least 1901 and 1960.
