HistoryThe Steedman family were tenant farmers around Kinross, although branches of the family also live in England and Germany. By the nineteenth century, several members had joined the professions, through the services and commercialism. The interest by various members of the family into their genealogy was awakened by John Stedman of Bath and remains an interest to this day.
